P.060 Teamwork makes dreamwork: a stroke of genius

Background: Interprofessional collaboration is at the center of much our work as Neurologists, yet often Medical Education inadequately prepares students for complexities interdisciplinary practice. Authentic, meaningful (IPE) requires consideration in involement all individuals involved interprofessional health care (IPHC) (Holbrook, 2013). Methods: We have collected authentic stories acute stroke through interviews with patients and other professionals on team. Drawing these narratives, we crafted a multimedia story combining film, photography, art. Results: This case will be integrated into Western University’s Undergraduate curriculum but intended to valuable tool teaching IPE competencies contexts. All media available thorugh Libaries open access Health Media Library. Main learning outcomes include improved recognition HCP roles vital diverse contributions each team member. Conclusions: experiences real patients, families, HCPs, rich educational portraying complexity IPHC that allow learners reflect complex professoinals successful
